This is the first step in creating my design in photoshop. I have managed to draw an outline of the album cover in black and white. Some of it is slightly faded in parts.
I think feedback from other students is important here with regard to which version of the image is the most appealing.
My opinion is that the back and white version with the designs on either side being multi coloured as in your 2nd example. Avoid blue on the jagged lines and the orange around the hand.
The cured design on the outer 2 finger posts could be in colour.
What about your other 3 panels? How are you progressing with these?
