Dora Nadine - Stay Young
My idea for this song:
- The lead singer (played by my brother) is filmed with a typical day in his life, but with flashbacks to his nightmares that linked with the lyrics. (Dark lighting etc) The plot would slightly link to the lyrics sang in the song, for example "Bite my tounge" would be linked to a scene with a girl standing in a dark room with a pair of scissors. (This would be a part of the flashbacks to his nightmare) Therefore within the video we have connected surrealism and reality together, which would be created through editing and lighting with the action on screen
- I have also included inter-texuality within the video, which would be linked to a music video within a Your Demise song (the scene in which he is standing at the mirror sorting his hair and trying on different shirts which was one of the inspirations for this video I am creating.
